Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician (second shift) is responsible for properly performing all maintenance and mechanical repairs within the facility, including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, welding, and building & grounds maintenance.

Must be available to work second shift hours. This position is open to entry-level candidates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on all equipment.
  • Perform building and grounds maintenance repairs.
  • Perform welding repairs.
  • Repair hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, basic plumbing, and electrical.
  • Troubleshoots all electrical malfunctions and ensures the facility systems are operating properly according to performance specifications.
  • Repairs all inoperable electrical equipment and circuits.
  • Report any irregularities or damage to the supervisor.
  • Maintains an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility and must complete all paperwork as required by the Company.
  • Complies with company-provided literature, training, and all existing Federal, State, Local and Company requirements, rules, and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in transportation, chemicals, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics preferred
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Candidates with a valid driver's license highly preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand English for the purposes of interpreting MSDS documents.
  • Experience in pressure washing, hydro-blasting, and/or working with chemicals highly preferred
