Pay Rates for Experienced Shop Foreman $26.50 to $37.50 per hour
Starting pay rate based on experience and skill level

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

This position is for our Geismar, Louisiana branch
Located at 35072 E Hwy 30

MUST BE LIVING IN THE AREA
We prefer applicants currently living within commuting distance of Geismar

Ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and 3-5 years of tank/trailer MECHANICAL repair experience. This is a working foreman position.

Must be a registered inspector for tank trailers or be willing to become one.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma, GED or higher

Demonstrated skill supervising employees performing most of the following tasks:

  • The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a trailer.
  • Tank service and repair
  • Experience with air brake systems and repairs
  • TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
